Bhubaneswar is the capital of the Indian state of Odisha. The city has a long history of over 2000 years starting with Chedi dynasty around 2nd century BCE who had Sisupalgarh near present-day Bhubaneswar as their capital.Bhubaneswar is known for its architecture and ancient temples.These temples epitomize a comprehensive history of the Orissan style of temple architecture from its very inception to perfection spreading almost to two thousand years from 3rd century B.
