| THE GIR LODGE | Gir National Park and Sanctuary is the only home of the Asiatic Lion.

natural habitat of the Asiatic lion. The Gir National Park & Sanctuary has a scentic
charm and covers an area of 1412 square kms of dry deciduous forest. The tranquillity

the home of the leopard, jungle cat, and rusty spotted cat. Among the prey species are the
cheetal, sambhar, four-horned antelope, wild boar and hare. With more than 200 species of
