Kumbhalgarh is a Mewar fortress in the Rajsamand District of Rajasthan state in western India. Nestled among dense hillocks in the Rajsamand district of Rajasthan, Kumbhalgarh, a two-hour drive from Udaipur is a profusely green, hilly territory with ponds and lakes to make it picture perfect.The Kumbhalgarh Fort Sporting a 36 km boundary wall, it accommodates 360 Jain and Hindu temples and sits majestically atop a hill. The vista from the palace top typically extends tens of kilometers into the Aravalli Range. It is widely believed that the sand dunes of the Thar desert can be seen from the fort walls.
